Arriving at DeMorgenzon, you will taste 3 different delectable wines. DeMorgenzon is renowned for playing classical music to their vines, believing that this enhances the growth of the vines. It is therefore little wonder why DeMorgenzon won an award for producing some of the best Chardonnay in the world.
Next, head to the Marianne winery where you will enjoy a wine pairing of 6 wines with Biltong, dried meat similar to beef jerky. Marianne believes that biltong enhances their wine’s flavors. Marianne’s Floreal wine was hand-picked by Chef Gordon Ramsay for Nelson Mandela’s 91st Birthday.
Fairview Wine and Cheese estate is our destination for wine and cheese tasting. In addition to Fairview cheeses, guests may also purchase them at the deli.
Experience Nelson Mandela’s former prison, Victor Verster, while driving through it. A stop will be made so that you can take photos near the Nelson Mandela monument in this legendary area.
Visit Franschhoek and explore the town, including shopping and eating in the local restaurants. Sir Richard Branson’s Mont Rochelle is a winery where you can taste wines. The estate was previously owned by Miko Rwayitare, whose name is still associated with a wine label and restaurant on the property.
